Robbie Williams has added a second date for his return to New Zealand next year.
Tickets for his first concert - at the Mission Winery Estate in Hawke's Bay on November 11, 2023 - sold out in under an hour, with organisers initially saying the date would be "his only New Zealand appearance".
But on Tuesday afternoon, the organisers announced that the English singer-songwriter, 48, would also be performing a second show on Sunday, November 12, after the first sold out so quickly.
More than 25,000 tickets were snapped up when they went on sale on Tuesday afternoon.
Mission Concert producer James Erskine said they were glad they could persuade Williams to book another night.
"We knew it was going to be big, but the speed at which people snapped up the 25,000 tickets was faster than we imagined," he said.
"It's a reflection of the calibre of this artist and a reflection of how much people love this event. We are delighted that Robbie has agreed to a second."
Tickets for the Sunday date are on sale now.
Williams was last in Aotearoa for concerts in Auckland and Dunedin in February 2018.
