It's Māori Language Week and to celebrate Newshub enlisted the help of Yellow Wiggle Tsehay Hawkins and Purple Wiggle Lachy Gillespie.
They're here to learn and then teach you six basic phrases to use in everyday conversation as Te Wiki o te Reo Māori 2022 gets underway!
Being Australian, neither Tsehay nor Lachy are fluent in te reo Māori, but this basic primer hopes to make you feel more comfortable giving it a go and to get the kids involved.
