Oscar-winning actress Hilary Swank has announced she is to become a mother of twins.
The 48-year-old revealed the news during an appearance on US morning TV, saying that she will be having two children with her husband Philip Schneider.
"I'm so happy to share it with you and with America right now.
"This is something I've been wanting for a long time and my next thing is I'm going to be a mum! I'm going to be a mum and not just of one but of two," the Boys Don't Cry actress said.
"I can't believe it. Thank you, it's so nice to be able to talk about it and share it. I'm sharing it right now for the first time! I'm really excited."
She did not reveal when the twins are due.
Swank then posted a series of snaps on social media illustrating her pregnancy bump with the caption: "Coming soon... DOUBLE feature!"
The Million Dollar Baby actor has been married to Schneider since 2018.
