Flight of the Conchords' Bret McKenzie is to play Auckland's Splore Festival in 2023.
He is one of a number of artists announced on Wednesday as joining the event, which will take place from February 24 to 26 at Tāpapakanga Park, 70km south-east of Auckland's CBD.
He will debut his new solo show with his nine-piece band following his successful Songs without Jokes national tour.
Organisers have also announced that Baltimore's Future Islands, featuring lead singer Samuel T Herring, will join the lineup, along with original UK junglists The Ragga Twins.
Dub Pistols' wild man, Barry Ashworth, will make an overdue return to Splore with two scheduled DJ sets and Brooklyn's Illustrious Blacks will deliver their trademark house music to two stages over the weekend.
The organisers have also unveiled further local acts to play Splore 2023. Jess B, Troy Kingi, Theia, TU and Don McGlashan and Proteins Of Magic will be playing the six stages of entertainment.
Organisers have already announced Kora, Ladi 6, Anthonie Tonnon and Rubi Du as confirmed acts.
Final tickets for the 2023 festival are now on sale at iTicket.
The festival was cancelled in 2022 due to COVID-19 restrictions.
