Pop star Harry Styles has been told he will have to complete the New Zealand Census while touring in Aotearoa.
The 'As It Was' singer will be performing his Love On Tour show at Auckland's Mt Smart Stadium on March 7 - which is census night.
Asked on Twitter if he was required to take part, a spokesperson from the census replied that there's no special exemptions for anyone.
"Everyone who is in Aotearoa New Zealand on census night (Tuesday, March 7), needs to be counted in the census.
"This includes tourists, visitors, and former members of One Direction."
The account also uploaded a picture with the description "Image description: Harry Styles sitting at a table, holding a pen."
"An illustration of a census paper has been added in front of him, lovingly rendered in fuchsia in Microsoft Paint."
The news that Styles will be partaking in a New Zealand census caps off a week which also saw him take on a "disgusting" Aussie tradition.
He sparked a national debate in Australia after performing a "shoey" at his Perth show on Monday night.
Video of the moment Styles was pressured into taking a drink from a shoe in front of 30,000 fans has gone viral, with various clips racking up millions of views.
The footage from the venue shows the crowd chanting, "Your turn, your turn" after Styles watched a concertgoer, called Scott, drinking from his footwear in the audience.
After adding some water into his Adidas Gucci shoe, the 'Watermelon Sugar' singer poured it into his mouth, before declaring it was the "most disgusting tradition".
