AM co-host Melissa Chan-Green has given birth to a baby girl.
She made the announcement on Instagram on Sunday morning, Mother's Day, revealing she was "so grateful to this wee baby girl for making me a mummy to two."
"Just quickly popping up from my newborn cuddle bubble, look forward to sharing some more pics in the morn and with my AM fam. Happy mother’s day," she said.
Fellow AM co-host Ryan Bridge was among the first to congratulate Chan-Green, saying: "Congratulations Mel and Casper (and busby!). A great addition to the house of Chan-Green. She's adorable. Love you guys xx"
AM newsreader Bernadine Oliver-Kerby also congratulated Chan-Green, saying: "Congrats gorgeous Mel.. can't wait to see you all and have a snuggle & squish!"
Chan-Green went on maternity leave at the end of April to have her second child.
She said departing to have her second baby felt "very surreal" in the final moments of her last AM show.
"We spend a lot of time together and I'm really going to miss you," co-host Bridge told her.
He then went on to add that "it took a while" to get accustomed to working with her, noting she was "so annoying to begin with".
In November, Chan-Green revealed live on air she was pregnant with her second child.
Joined on the couch by her three-year-old son Busby, Chan-Green asked him to help her with the announcement.
"Now Busby, we've been rehearsing something at home haven't we? We've been practicing because mummy's had a little secret," she said.
"Do you want to say in mummy's microphone, what's mummy's secret?"
"Having a baby," Busby whispered.
