American Idol winner Kelly Clarkson says she would consider covering Bic Runga's seminal song 'Sway' on US television.
The 'Since You Been Gone' artist sings a cover during each episode of her US talk show, The Kelly Clarkson Show.
The Project's Kanoa Lloyd raised the idea with the 'Break Away' hitmaker during an interview for her 10th studio album, Chemistry.
"I think you need some more Kiwi songs in the mix," Lloyd said, before offering up Runga's 1997 classic 'Sway' as a possibility for the segment.
"Wait, 'Sway' by who?" Clarkson said.
"Hey, I'm taking requests because there's 180 every TV season," she replied when Lloyd explained who the New Zealand singer was.
"It's a lot of songs," she added.
