Lizzo has been peer-pressured to do a 'shoey' on stage during her Sydney show - but in true style, she found her own way to make it work.
The 'Truth Hurts' singer was performing at the first of her two Sydney shows at Qudos Bank Arena when she was given a bottle of tequila from a fan in the crowd.
After interacting with her fans and receiving gifts like a stuffed koala toy, the crowd started chanting, "Shoey!" at the hitmaker.
Having learned what a shoey was - drinking an alcoholic beverage out of a shoe - she then asked the crowd, "What's wrong with y'all?"
"My shoe? My shoe is disgusting.
"I can't drink out of my f***ing shoe, what's wrong with y'all?"
As the chants grew louder, Lizzo took off a glittery boot, shoved the tequila bottle inside it and began to chug it down, much to the delight of the crowd.
"Australia, how are you guys still walking if that's how you take shots?" she asked.
Lizzo is not the only star to be peer-pressured into drinking from her shoe.
In February, Harry Styles was forced into doing a 'shoey' at his Perth show.
Video of the moment Styles was pressured into taking a drink from a shoe in front of 30,000 fans went viral, with various clips racking up millions of views.
The footage from the venue showed the crowd chanting, "Your turn, your turn" after Styles watched a concert-goer called Scott drinking from his footwear in the audience.
Lizzo is due to play Auckland's Spark Arena on Wednesday, July 26.
