Iconic 1980s rockers Simple Minds will be heading to New Zealand as part of the Summer Concert Tour 2024.
The 'Don't You (Forget About Me)' singers will join with Scottish act Texas, Australian band Pseudo Echo and Collective Soul for a series of concerts happening in Taupō, Hamilton, and Queenstown in January and February.
The Summer Concert Tour will head to Taupō Amphitheatre on January 27, Hamilton's Claudelands Oval on January 28, and Queenstown's Gibbston Valley Winery on February 3.
Texas had hits with 'I Don't Want a Lover' and 'Say What You Want', and recently played the UK's Glastonbury festival to rave reviews.
Pseudo Echo are best known for 'Funky Town', which reached No. 1 on the NZ Singles Charts in 1987 and was on the charts for 19 weeks
Ticket pre-sales will open to Greenstone Club members on July 19 before sales to the general public begin on July 21.
