The annual Synthony in the Domain is heading from its Auckland home to the South Island for a winter experience next month.
Organisers have today revealed a "one-of-a-kind" musical event set to take place in Queenstown on Saturday, August 19.
Synthony in the Snow will be held at Coronet Peak against the backdrop of the Southern Alps.
Publicity for the show claims "this remarkable event will fuse the exhilaration of night skiing and snowboarding with the pulsating sound".
Director of Duco Touring David Higgins said: "It will be incredibly exciting to see Synthony in a world first on Coronet Peak, it's a celebration of life, love, and the extraordinary power of music."
Tickets for the event go on sale from Monday, July 10 with packages on offer including a night ski pass at the Peak.
