Olympic gold medallist and New Zealand rugby sevens star Ruby Tui claims her prize possession was "stolen" by Star Wars actor Natalie Portman while on a night out in Auckland.
Tui uploaded a video to her TikTok account on Monday night after a panel that she took part in alongside Portman, former Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern and FIFA secretary-general Fatma Samoura.
They had been discussing gender equality and issues faced by women in sport as part of a FIFA initiative for the Women's World Cup.
"So, er, I had my medal, but someone won't give it back," Tui said to the camera, before turning it to show Portman, who smirked before running off with it.
"Are you alright there?" Tui asked, before shouting at her: "Oi, hey we're kidding, you're the Black Swan!"
After Portman made off with the medal, Tui turned the camera back to face her before saying: "Sweet, nah you have it. Keep it, keep it. I don't want an Academy Award."
Commenters on the TikTok thought the video was hilarious.
"Why was her run so adorable??" one said.
"OMG what!" another asked.
Others commented on Portman's size in the video.
"OMG she's so teeny," one wrote.
Portman is just one of the many high profile women stars who owns Los Angeles' women's football team, Angel City.
The team was announced on July 21, 2020 and has many high-profile owners including, America Ferrera, Mia Hamm, Abby Wambach, Eva Longoria and Serena Williams.
