The Weeknd has added a second Auckland date to his After Hours Til Dawn tour due to "phenomenal demand".
The 'Blinding Lights' singer will play a second night at Auckland's Eden Park on Friday, December 8, with special guests Mike Dean and Chxrry22 set to perform as supporting acts.
A spokesperson for promoters Live Nation said: "Demand for The Weeknd's December 7th show in New Zealand was unprecedented and one of the busiest presales in Ticketmaster New Zealand's history."
General tickets for both shows will go on sale September 1.
The After Hours Til Dawn tour has broken attendance records in London with over 160,000 concertgoers across two nights. It also broke a Wembley Stadium venue record for sales to a "traditional concert set up" with 87,000 tickets sold for one show alone.
Funds from the leg of the tour will go to the XO Humanitarian Fund, which supports the organisation's response to the global food crisis. Over US$1 million was raised for the fund via ticket sales during the recently wrapped European leg.
