Former The AM Show hosts Amanda Gillies and Mark Richardson reunited with Ryan Bridge on Wednesday morning, marking the first time they have been on air together since December, 2021.
The trio were part of the show's AM panel, discussing the upcoming general election from a cafe in St Heliers.
Bridge introduced the pair as "beloved members of the AM family" before kicking off the discussion.
Gillies, now Newshub's national correspondent, said the meeting affected her more than she had expected.
"It feels weirdly a little bit emotional for me," she said.
"This is the first time we've been together since December 10, 2021."
"Nah it's well weird without a doubt," Richardson revealed.
The pair soon slipped back into their old routine with Richardson remarking on the cafe's choice of furniture for the TV segment.
"I am enjoying the beach chairs though. It's just missing a beer in the holder," he said.
