Iron Maiden will perform at Auckland's Spark Arena on Monday, September 16, 2024 as part of the band's global Future Past Tour.
They were last in New Zealand in 2016 when they played Auckland and Christchurch on a tour that saw them arrive in Aotearoa in their own Ed Force One, a customised Boeing 747-400 they travelled the planet on during The Book of Souls Tour.
Their Auckland concert next year promises songs from their latest album Senjutsu as well as classic hits from their near 50-year career.
"We're all really excited to finally be able to return to New Zealand as we know our fans have waited so patiently for us over the past few years," bassist Steve Harris said in a statement.
"It's going to be great to get back there, especially with this new show. We promise you all, it'll be worth the wait!
"We've really enjoyed playing all the shows and the reaction from our fans has been incredible. Being able to play some of these songs for the very first time has made the tour even more memorable, and we can't wait to continue it next year."
Tickets go on sale on Tuesday, October 24.
