Coldplay have added a third date to the Auckland run of their Music of the Spheres World Tour.
The group will now play Eden Park on Saturday, November 16, 2024.
On Wednesday the 'Yellow' hitmakers announced a second date was being added, just days before tickets go on general sale to the public.
Pre-sale tickets have seen "unprecedented demand" leading to the band adding extra dates to both their New Zealand and Australia legs.
The extra gig on Saturday means the band has broken the all-time record as the first artist to play three nights in the venue's 123-year history.
Coldplay will now play Auckland's Eden Park on November 13, 15 and 16 next year.
The general sale for tickets to all shows commences on Friday, December 1 at 10am.
Coldplay have also promised a "limited number" of lower-priced tickets to go on sale at a later date.
The 'Infinity Tickets' will cost $32 and are part of the group's push to make their tour more accessible to fans.
