Former Home and Away star Johnny Ruffo has died aged 35 from brain cancer.
The news was announced via a statement on his Instagram on Friday.
"It is with a heavy heart that today we had to farewell our beloved Johnny," the statement read.
"Surrounded by his partner Tahnee and family, Johnny went peacefully with the support of some incredible nurses & doctors.
"He was a very talented, charming and sometimes cheeky boy.
"Johnny was very determined and had a strong will.
"He battled all the way to the end and fought as hard as he could. Such a beautiful soul with so much more to give.
"We all love you Johnny and will remember you for all the joy you brought to our lives. Rest easy."
Ruffo became famous in Australia in 2011 after appearing on The X Factor Australia.
In 2012, he spent three years playing Chris Harrington on the iconic soap Home and Away.
In 2017, Ruffo revealed he had been diagnosed with brain cancer and in 2019, he announced the cancer was in remission. In November 2020, he told fans the tumour had returned.
In July 2023, Ruffo posted a series of pictures from Queenstown enjoying a winter getaway.
