Taylor Swift has been named Time's person of the year, beating out the likes of Barbie, King Charles III and Vladimir Putin for the title.
However, in an extensive interview with the magazine, Swift has lashed out at both Kim Kardashian and Kanye West for "taking her down psychologically" and forcing her into hiding during their long-running feud.
In 2016, Kanye West wrote 'Famous' in which the lyrics stated: "I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex / Why? I made that b***h famous".
West claimed Swift had consented to the reference, but after denying it, Kardashian then released "an illegally recorded phone call" which seemed to prove otherwise.
Swift said in the Time interview that the fallout from the resulting controversy felt like a "career death" to her and forced her into hiding for a year.
"Make no mistake - my career was taken away from me," she said.
"You have a fully manufactured frame job, in an illegally recorded phone call, which Kim Kardashian edited and then put out to say to everyone that I was a liar. That took me down psychologically to a place I've never been before.
"I moved to a foreign country. I didn't leave a rental house for a year. I was afraid to get on phone calls. I pushed away most people in my life because I didn't trust anyone anymore. I went down really, really hard."
Swift didn't hold back either, saying she had to work to move past the feud as it was consuming her.
"Trash takes itself out every single time. But I've also learned there's no point in actively trying to quote unquote defeat your enemies."
After her year of living as a recluse, Swift then released her 2017 album, Reputation, which had snakes as imagery for the era - the songs focused on anger and vengeance.
The Time accolade comes after a big 12 months for the star - she has embarked on a massive global Eras Tour, released the Eras Tour concert movie, re-released her 2014 album, 1989, and began dating NFL star Travis Kelce.
