AM co-host Lloyd Burr has shocked Take That star Gary Barlow with a confession about one of their most popular songs.
During an interview to promote their upcoming one-off date in Auckland, Burr warned Barlow: "This might make you feel old" when discussing the boy band's 1995 mega-hit 'Back for Good'.
"But it's the song, the soundtrack to my childhood pretty much," Burr said.
"I remember playing LEGO and singing 'want you back for good'."
"Don't tell Gazza that!" co-host Melissa Chan-Green laughed as Barlow sighed at Burr's revelation.
Barlow promised them the song would feature as part of their concert tour in Auckland and said it usually happens around the middle of the show.
The group, who were last in Aotearoa in 2017 for shows in Wellington and Auckland, will play Tāmaki Makaurau's Spark Arena on Thursday, November 14.
'Murder on the Dancefloor' singer Sophie Ellis-Bextor will be supporting them.
