Madonna has fallen off a chair during her song 'Open Your Heart' at a Celebration Tour performance in Seattle in the US.
In video being widely shared on social media, the 'Material Girl' is dragged along the stage on a chair by a backup dancer who is wearing high heels.
As he got halfway down the stage, he tumbled on his heels, falling and knocking Madonna to the ground as he lost his grip on the chair.
The 65-year-old then landed on her back with her legs in the air.
However, she quickly rolled onto her front and smiled at the crowd while continuing the performance.
Another backup singer gave her a hug before continuing on with the show's choreography.
But Madonna was thrown off by the incident, telling the crowd: "Shit, I forgot the words."
Commenters on the video were quick to praise her recovery, saying: "She owned it and saved it with that cheeky laugh of hers!"
"Madonna being unabashedly and spontaneously silly and fun is my favourite Madonna," another said.
In June last year, the 'Like A Virgin' singer had to postpone some of her Celebration world tour after she developed a serious bacterial infection.
The infection forced her to spend several days in the ICU before she made a full recovery.
