Rebel Wilson believes singer Adele "hates" her because people have gotten them confused for one another.
The Pitch Perfect star made the claim in her memoir Rebel Rising, as reported by Us Weekly, which has seen a copy of the book.
"Some actresses would get offended if I called them plus-size in this book, so I have to be careful with what I say. This is why, I think, Adele hates me," Wilson wrote.
"There was a moment when she was bigger, and some people would confuse us for one another. To be fair I've never asked her."
Wilson also claimed she had been at events with Adele and every time she had tried to approach her, the singer would "always quickly" turn away.
"As if my fatness might rub off on her if I were near her for more than 30 seconds," Wilson said.
"She didn't like being compared to 'Fat Amy'."
Adele has not responded to the comments in the book, which releases globally on April 2. But the 'Someone Like You' singer isn't the first celebrity to come under the spotlight in Rebel Rising.
Last week, it was reported there was an "a**hole" who was trying to stop the release of her memoir, later revealed to be Ali G actor Sacha Baron Cohen.
Wilson and Baron Cohen starred together in The Brothers Grimsby in 2016.
"I will not be bullied or silenced with high priced lawyer or PR crisis managers," Wilson wrote on her Instagram stories at the time.
"The 'a**hole' that I am talking about in ONE CHAPTER of my book is Sacha Baron Cohen."
