Crowded House announce New Zealand tour for new album Gravity Stairs

Crowded House are to tour New Zealand in support of their new album Gravity Stairs.

The iconic Kiwi band will kick off in Wellington on November 9 before heading around the country, including Dunedin, Christchurch, Palmerston North, Tauranga, and Hamilton.

They'll finish off in Auckland on November 23 before heading to Australia.

The multi-platinum selling band's new album releases on May 31.

In a statement, Neil Finn said he was "so looking forward to getting amongst our people having practised in the northern hemisphere for a few months. The band will be running hot and we can't wait to sing with you and elevate our collective spirits."

Crowded House have sold more than 15 million records worldwide as well as earning a Brit Award, 13 Australian ARIA Awards, 3 Aotearoa Music Awards and an MTV VMA.

Tickets will be available to the general public on Thursday, May 30 after a raft of pre-sales.
