Below Deck Mediterranean's Captain Sandy Yawn has hailed her Kiwi crew member Aesha Scott as one of the most "awesome" people she has ever worked with.
Yawn was on AM on Friday ahead of the launch of the show's ninth season, which sees the reality TV show heading to Athens in Greece.
While Yawn promised the show has set a course for drama, she told AM hosts Lloyd Burr and Melissa Chan-Green that chief stew Scott would also have audiences hooked.
"She's awesome," Yawn said. "She started in Mediterranean with me - I'm so happy to have her.
"I hope there's a next season and we're together."
When asked whether Kiwis brought much to the show, Yawn was full of praise, lauding them as "hard workers, [who had] great attitudes and were very positive".
"Even when people are attacking you, they find ways to navigate it and make it fun."
