Public Enemy to perform in New Zealand for On The Grid 35th anniversary tour

Iconic rap group Public Enemy will play a one-off New Zealand concert as part of their On The Grid 35th anniversary tour.

They will perform at Auckland's Trusts Arena on October 15.

The 2013 Hall of Fame inductees will be supported by Auckland rapper, poet and singer Melodownz.

The group last performed in New Zealand in 2010.

Public Enemy was formed in 1985 in Long Island, New York by Chuck D and Flavor Flav.

Tickets for the Aotearoa show go on sale Tuesday, July 2.
